Every year, Palalda celebrates its Spring
Join us in June for the Spring of Palalda!
The village of Palalda appears in history as early as the 9th century, in a decree by Louis the Pious in 883. The Palalda lordship of the 13th century depended on the Cabrenc castle, and it is from its first known lord, Guillem Hug de Serralongua, that we owe the construction of the fortifications, of which the two towers adjacent to the church remain.

The Spring of Palalda is a must-see event for all culture lovers.
During this time, you can enjoy various activities such as: Creative workshops, choirs, the artisan market, and concerts.

But Palalda is also:
- The Saint Martin Church,
- The Chapel of the Rosary,
- The El Casal Museum
