Accueil Vélo is a national brand that guarantees a welcome and quality services along the cycle routes for roaming cyclists.
Accueil Vélo, is the guarantee for the cyclist of an establishment:
- Located less than 5 km from a bike route
- With equipment suitable for cyclists: secure bike shelter, repair kit
- With a warm welcome (practical information, advice (itineraries, weather forecast, etc.)

The Amélie-les-Bains Palalda Tourist Office has the Accueil Vélo label. It provides you with a tailor-made reception, appropriate documentation and a repair kit for minor damage. If we are closed, you will find an outdoor sign that will give you all the information you need for your stay.

To know for tourists on bicycles:
-If space allows, bicycles are admitted free of charge in the hold as long as the hold is not already occupied by luggage (be careful with lines to thermal spas which are often loaded).
-They can only be accommodated in large capacity buses with a maximum of 3 bikes per bus.
-Most cargo holds do not have a carpeted bottom, so bikes can slide. The customer must be notified.
-The drivers are not authorized to help the cyclist to put the bicycle in or out of the hold outside the arrival and departure station. The customer in most cases will receive directions from the driver but will have to fend for themselves.
-Neither the carrier nor the region can be held responsible for the loss, theft or damage to the material transported.

BY TRAIN
Two solutions for traveling by train with a bicycle:
- Folded or dismantled and stored in a bag, bicycles * are accepted free of charge, subject to availability, on all trains. Considered as hand luggage, the covered bicycle must be labeled and must not exceed the maximum authorized dimensions: 120cm in height for 90cm in width.
-On most trains, dedicated spaces, identified by a bicycle pictogram, allow, subject to availability, to travel with a bicycle.
*Only standard bikes are accepted on trains. The transport of recumbent bicycles, tricycles, tandems and trailers of any kind is not permitted
