A Nordik Walk Resort® is a place 100% dedicated to Nordic walking, which offers routes, services and tools both to beginners wishing to learn and be supervised, but also to enthusiasts which are looking for a single place to organize courses or full weekends.
An extraordinary playground is offered to you for the practice of nordik walking at Amélie-les-Bains Palalda. Discover, leafing through the paths, an architectural heritage, witness of the past, in an exceptional and preserved natural setting.
The health course is made up of two loops in eight with a departure in front of the Golf Compact.
You start on the left towards the Tech in the order to go along it on 450 m, turn right twice to reach " The hill workshop" then continue straight on to pass over "Ther cardio workshop" and finish the first loop of 900 m by passing in front of the golf course again.
At the starting point, continue the route between the golf course and the stadium on the upper part. You will find the "downhill workshop" then at the end of the loop in the corner of the stadium at km 1.250 "The obstacle clearance workshop".
Bypass the stadium and along it on the other side to return to the starting point in front of the Compact Golf course.
The route of the Chapel includes a main and regular ascent over 2.5 km to reach the plateau and then the Chapel at 300 m with a beautiful viewpoint. On the way back, you can turn right to enjoy a second viewpoint on a small stretch round trip at 3.3 km before reaching the starting point by the same path only downhill.
The route of the Santa Engracia battery offers a profile with an ascent in two stages. The first one is a regular one in the direction of the chapel over 2.5 km in the order to reach the plateau and then the chapel at 300 m with a beautiful viewpoint. On the way back, you can turn right to enjoy a second viewpoint on a small section round trip at km 3.3 before reaching the crossroads and turn left to climb back towards the battery at km 4.9.
Once you reach the summit at 860 m above the sea level, you will enjoy another superb viewpoint over the whole valley.
From this highest point, you will come back down for 3.9 km to reach the starting point by the same path.
Departure from the church car park for 350 m on the road uphill before taking the path on the left for a steady ascent to km 1.8. Take the road on the left for 120 m before encounter the trail again on the right for 1.5 km.
Cross the D 618 and take the path opposite to go down again for 1 km to join the round trip section until you reach the starting point.
Departure from the church car park for 300 m on the road to find the trail on a common part round trip for 1 km. Turn right at km 1.2 and continue the ascent for 4 km until you reach "The Coll de la Reducta" at km 5.3 to enjoy a superb viewpoint. From this highest point, you will only have to descend regulary over 2.3 km to reach the starting point.
